We’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible, but if you’re not familiar with terms like cookies, IP addresses, pixel tags and browsers, then read about these key terms first. Your privacy matters to AMB eLearning Team so whether you are new or a long-time user, please do take the time to get to know our practices – and if you have any questions contact us.

Information we collect

We collect information to provide better services to all of our visitors. We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you give us. For example, many of our services require you to sign up for a AMB eLearning Account. When you do, we’ll ask for personal information, like your name, email address, telephone number to store with your account. Please share the details if you want to take full advantage of the features we offer.
  • Information we get from your use of our services. We collect information about the services that you use and how you use them, like uploading the course, starting a group discussion or webinar etc. This information includes:
  • Log information

When you use our services or view content provided by AMB eLearning Team, we automatically collect and store certain information in database. This includes:

  • Internet Protocol you are using.
  • Date, Time of Login and Logout.

Information we collect when you are signed in to AMB eLearning Portal may be associated with your AMB eLearning Account. When information is associated with your AMB eLearning Account, we treat it as personal information. To stop unverified registration, our AMB eLearning Admin authorizes the Login details of the particular Users, which send the confirmation mail automatically.

Information you share

We try to keep the information which is shared by you highly private and safe.

Information security

We try to protect AMB eLearning Portal and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. In particular:

  • We encrypt many of our Login Passwords.
  • We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.

When this Privacy Policy applies?

Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by AMB eLearning Portal.

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to you in search result. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our services, and who may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.

Changes

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of privacy policy changes). We will also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive for your review.

Using the AMB eLearning Portal

Who May Use our Services?

You may use our Services only if you can form a binding contract with AMB eLearning Portal and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. When you create your AMB eLearning Portal account, and subsequently when you use certain features, you must provide us with accurate and complete information, and you agree to update your information to keep it accurate and complete. Any use or access by anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited, and certain courses may have additional requirements and/or restrictions.

License to You

Subject to these Terms and our policies (including the Acceptable Use Policy, Honor Code, and course-specific eligibility requirements and other terms), we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our Services. You may download content from our Services only for your personal, non-commercial use, unless you obtain AMB eLearning Portal’s written permission to otherwise use the content. You also agree that you will create, access, and/or use only one user account, and you will not share with any third party access to or access information for your account.

Course Modifications

While we take pride in our courses, unexpected events do occur. AMB eLearning Portal reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, or reschedule any course or to modify any course content or the point value or weight of any assignment, quiz, or other assessment. Please read our Privacy Policy for further information.

Honor Code

All users participating in the course must agree to abide by the following code of conduct:

  1. I will register for only one account.
  2. My answers to homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assignments will be my own work (except for assignments that explicitly permit collaboration).
  3. I will not make solutions to homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assignments available to anyone else (except to the extent an assignment explicitly permits sharing solutions). This includes both solutions written by me, as well as any solutions provided by the course staff or others.
  4. I will not engage in any other activities that will dishonestly improve my results or dishonestly improve or hurt the results of others.

Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access. AMB eLearning Portal respects the intellectual property rights of our users, and other third parties and expects our users to do the same when using the Services.

Copyright and Trademark Policy

AMB eLearning Portal respects the intellectual property rights of our partner institutions, instructors, and other third parties and expects our users to do the same when using the Services. We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are repeatedly charged with infringing the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.

Acceptable Use Policy

Our mission is to provide universal access to the world’s best education on Anemia. We believe strongly in preserving free speech and expression for our learners as well as academic freedom for our partner institutions and instructors. We also want to make sure that all of our learners and instructors feel safe and comfortable while using our Services. We have drafted these guidelines to ensure that people understand and follow the rules when participating in our online community and otherwise using our Services.

Although we do not routinely screen or monitor content provided by users, we may remove or edit inappropriate content or activity reported to us or suspend, disable, or terminate a user's access to all or part of the Services.

You are prohibited from using our Services to share content that:

  • Contains illegal content or promotes illegal activities with the intent to commit such activities. Please keep in mind that learners who are as young as 18 use AMB eLearning Portal, and we do not allow content that is inappropriate for these younger learners.
  • Contains credible threats or organizes acts of real-world violence. We don’t allow content that creates a genuine risk of physical injury or property damage, credibly threatens people or public safety, or organizes or encourages harm.
  • Harrasses others. We encourage commentary about people and matters of public interest, but abusive or otherwise inappropriate content directed at private individuals is not allowed.
  • Violates intellectual property, privacy, or other rights. Do not share content that you do not have the right to share, claim content that you did not create as your own, or otherwise infringe or misappropriate someone else’s intellectual property or other rights. Always attribute materials used or quoted by you to the original copyright owner.
  • Spams others. Do not share irrelevant or inappropriate advertising, promotional, or solicitation content.
  • Otherwise violates the AMB eLearning Portal’s Terms of Use. Please note that specific courses may have additional rules and requirements.

You also aren't allowed to:

  • Do anything that violates local, state, national or international law or breaches any of your contractual obligations or fiduciary duties.
  • Share your password, let anyone access your account, or do anything that might put your account at risk.
  • Attempt to access any other user's account.
  • Reproduce, transfer, sell, resell, or otherwise misuse any content from our Services, unless specifically authorized to do so.
  • Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of our systems, unless specifically authorized to do so.
  • Break or circumvent our authentication or security measures or otherwise test the vulnerability of our systems or networks, unless specifically authorized to do so.
  • Try to reverse engineer any portion of our Services.
  • Try to interfere with any user, host, or network, for example by sending a virus, overloading, spamming, or mail-bombing.
  • Use our Services to distribute malware.
  • Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Encourage or help anyone do any of the things on this list.
